Biography
Mario Salomone has a master degree in Theoretical Philosophy. He is an environmental sociologist, former university professor at the University of Bergamo and Milano (IULM), is teaching Environmental sociology at the University of Milano Bicocca and Torino. Journalist, lecturer in hundreds of conferences, author or co-author of handbooks, papers and book chapters on environmental education, environmental communication, ecological economics and other environmental issues, and writer of novels and tales.

Bianca La Placa

Biography
Focused on international events industry – meetings, conventions, exhibitions, workshops, seminars, awards ceremonies, presentations, in Europe and worldwide – I have worked in a variety of operational and marketing roles, specialising in digital and print media, events and market intelligence.
My experience includes project and event management, developing and nurturing client relationships, strategic planning and implementation, managing and mentoring team members, fostering supplier relationships. Client and supplier liaison; effective communication with the technical and design teams.
I have directed national, regional and global communications and marketing initiatives through:
- Designing and implementing creative media campaigns producing promotional materials
- Developing an engaging online and social media presence
- Coordinating high-level events
- Logistic organisations (venues, travels, accommodation, materials for participants, etc.)
- Contacts with speakers, delegates, hosts, partners and sponsors
- Staff coordinator

Federica Colucci

Biography
Federica is a journalist and project manager specialising in environmental communication and sustainability. She is a co-organiser of WEEC Congresses and editor for eco sustainable education.

Mariaclaudia Cusumano

Biography
Mariaclaudia Cusumano, Ph.D (she/her) is a Research Fellow in Environmental Sociology at the University of Milano-Bicocca, Italy.
Her field of research is Sociology of the Environment and Territory; in her research, she is working on anthropocene, climate change, food accessibility, urban lifestyle and health, environmental refugees, sustainability models, UNESCO Heritage, GIS. She is on the editorial board of the Scientific Journal Culture della Sostenibiità, on the Scientific Committee of Collana Effetto Farfalla, on the Scientific Committee of STAI Early Career.
